India Collection
The India Collection is the result of recent trips to Punjab and Kashmir. The purpose of the trip was to attend the wedding of the daughter of Narbdeshwar Pandey. He was the chauffeur who led myself and a small group of Malaysian-Chinese friends on a month-long odyssey through Rajasthan in the mid-90's.
The wedding experience and what enfolded from it brought me closer to East Indian culture than most people have priviledge to experience.
Perhaps that intimate proximity with family and social values long forgotten in Western culture helped crystalize these pictures in the random conjurings of my mind.
